The Drawing Center is now accepting applications for the second iteration of Open Sessions, a two-year program for artists to find new approaches for thinking about drawing, contextualizing and exhibiting their work, organizing public programs, and gallery exhibitions. All programming is developed in conjunction with Drawing Center staff in response to the questions, ideas, and approaches that concern the selected artists.
We would like to extend the invitation to apply to artists, architects, musicians, dancers, filmmakers, poets, theorists, scientists—anyone who is interested in expanding the boundaries of drawing with us at The Drawing Center. Please forward our information to anyone who you think might benefit from this opportunity.
The application deadline is September 30th. The program begins January 2016 and runs until December 2017.
