Mary Walling Blackburn (’11) Goodly Object; Sleazy Performance :::::Presenting at 17::::: 124 E 4 St (1&2 Aves), Apt 17, New York, NY 10003 / 5th floor walk-up Sunday, March 15, 8:00–9:30pm
Goodly Object; Sleazy Performance is the initial hallucination of a coming event (or perhaps an incantation for future objects; ones that embody the extreme resistance performance use to engage). Here pseudo-spiritualism and war crime therapies merge. How?
A lecture of M.C. Richards, cult ceramicist, is reworked and is penetrated by war criminals’ participation in craft therapies during preliminary imprisonment. The event /performance /moment gets slop (brown and translucent) on the bureaucrat artist although it will not suck-off the community suck-up. The object might weirdly become a goodly resistor.
